Flotsam

3:20 p.m. 2001-04-06

I fell asleep after reading Lady Mary Wroth's sonnet sequence this afternoon, and dreamed in iambic pentamater for about forty-five minutes straight. It was all nonsense, but it was all iambic pentameter too.

And straight the sun was rising to the brink / The thousand horsemen rode on miles untold / And yet my love bring back the rapid song / Let others think what they do know is bold.
