Seacoast of Bohemia

I heart self-loathing literary crossdressing

Okay. Just have to add that oh my god the preferatory letters to Barnabe Riche are so exciting!!!!! Not only do they take up the reasons for commercial publication, they directly address the way in which Riche perceives (or claims to perceive) the work of published tale-telling as literary cross-dressing! It's homophobic homophilia -- like a Hasty Pudding drag show or something! God, it's gorgeous! Okay. Back to doing actual work.
