Whew! Presentation over. Honestly. I have got to learn to tone down the stress.
Yesterday in the grad lounge, one of my fellow grads miserably revealed that she had 300 pages of Tom Jones still to read before this morning. Another student suggested that she simply do the best she could, and finish the rest after class.
Her answer: "Hey, now! Believing that the world will end if I don't finish my school work has worked for me this far! DON'T SPOIL THE ILLUSION, MY FRIEND."
I so identify.
