- I have been working for over two hours on two paragraphs of paper proposal and all I have managed to claim is that a particular play "may be used as an entry point into the way that early modern theater approached the power of representation itself." I also ask some irritating questions about "how public mourning works." I am a parody of myself.
- Raise your hand if you're not in love with John Hodgman. Did you notice that I did not raise my hand. I really seriously did not raise my hand at all.
- February's over at last. Now we can move on to a month that doesn't have sharp, silent Rs sticking out all over the place waiting to cut you up.
